Joe joined the firm as an Associate in 2020. His practice focuses in the area of litigation.
Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Joe served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Brian P. Stern and The Honorable Richard A. Licht in the Rhode Island Superior Court. In this role, he was responsible for researching civil issues and assisted in drafting decisions on matters including contract, statutory and trust interpretation; personal jurisdiction; condominium law; conflicts of interest; discovery disputes; arbitration awards; temporary restraining orders; and preliminary injunctions. Joe later served as a judicial law clerk to The Honorable Francis X. Flaherty in the Rhode Island Supreme Court, where he assisted in drafting opinions and bench memoranda and researched, evaluated, and discussed cases on appeal. Joe also served as a member of the Rhode Island Supreme Court Rules of Evidence Committee where he conducted legal research and presented his findings to the Committee.
Joe received his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. While in law school, he was a member of the honors program and law review. He also served on the law review editorial board as an Articles Editor in his final year of law school
