Matthew J. Pimentel

Biography

Matt joined the firm as an Associate in 2022. His practice focuses in the area of litigation.

Prior to joining the firm as an Associate, Matt was an associate attorney at a boutique law firm where he represented clients in a wide range of matters including business litigation, construction litigation, receivership matters, real estate transactions, and contract disputes. In addition, Matt previously worked as an appellate litigator at one of the nation’s largest veterans disability law firms, where he represented disabled veterans before the United States Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims.

Matt received his Juris Doctor from Roger Williams University School of Law. During law school, Matt was a Student Attorney with the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office and the Roger Williams Criminal Defense Clinic. Both of those experiences provided Matt with invaluable in-court experience advocating before the Massachusetts District Court, Rhode Island District Court, Rhode Island Traffic Tribunal, and Providence Municipal Court. Matt also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Frances A. McIntyre (ret.) of the Massachusetts Superior Court. In addition, while in law school, Matt was a member of the honors program and law review.
