Joseph A. Anesta became a partner of the Firm in 2001.  Joe’s expertise is in the areas of general corporate and employment law.  He counsels entrepreneurs and established corporate clients on a wide variety of issues, including acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures and financing.  He has extensive experience in negotiating contracts relating to all aspects of the development, purchase, leasing and licensing of computer hardware and software.  Joe counsels corporations and individuals in all aspects of employment law.  He works extensively with clients on ways to prevent discrimination claims, as well as the investigation and resolution of such claims.  He also represents corporations and individuals in the negotiation of executive employment and separation agreements.

He previously practiced at Edwards & Angell LLP, and served as Assistant General Counsel of both Nortek, Inc. and GTECH Corporation, both of which have been publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange.
