Cindy Warren represents health care clients including physician groups, tax-exempt faculty practice plans, community health centers, community mental health centers, home health agencies, nursing facilities and assisted living residences.  Cindy counsels clients about state and federal regulatory matters; medical practice formation and operations;  physician recruitment and employment matters; HIPAA, fraud and abuse and Stark compliance; hospital and third party payor contracting; medical staff and credentialing issues; tax-exemption matters; real estate leasing and purchasing; risk management; and general corporate matters.  Cindy has assisted clients with various health care transactions including hospital affiliations, joint venture structuring and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to practicing law, Cindy worked in leadership positions in a number of health care organizations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts.  After attending law school where she concentrated her studies on health care and corporate law, Cindy was an associate in the Providence office of Brown, Rudnick, Freed & Gesmer and was Associate General Counsel of Lifespan Corporation, the largest health care system in Rhode Island, before joining the Firm in 2001.
